In February 2025, Levira, in collaboration with Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech), was awarded a government tender to develop and deploy Pocket Siren an ambitious national project to harness 5G Broadcast technology for emergency alerting in Estonia.

 

The project addresses a critical real-world challenge: ensuring that emergency communications remain operational even when conventional telecommunications systems fail as often happens during natural disasters or large-scale crises.
