Levira was honoured with the "Supporter of National Defence" silver badge by the Estonian Ministry of Defence for the third year in a row.

Levira was honoured with the "Supporter of National Defence" silver badge by the Estonian Ministry of Defence. The recognition is given to employers who significantly contribute to national defence by supporting their employees' participation in defence-related duties.

This acknowledgement highlights Levira’s long-term and deliberate approach to supporting Estonia’s national defence. We believe it is essential that employees involved in the Defence League, Estonian Defence Forces, or other defence structures can participate in training and missions with peace of mind and job security. That is why we maintain their salaries during training call-ups and, when necessary, reorganize their work responsibilities to accommodate their service.

We also offer the opportunity for employees serving in the Defence Forces to continue working part-time – allowing them to earn additional income and stay connected to their profession. In addition, we actively cooperate by providing access to our premises for training activities and supporting exercises with our infrastructure and technological capabilities.

Supporting Estonia’s security and resilience is a fundamental priority for Levira. This is also why we are a pilot partner in the Pocket siren project, working alongside government partners to develop solutions that help the population respond more effectively in emergencies. We have robust, crisis-resilient systems in place – ensuring that television and radio broadcasting remains uninterrupted even during crises.

Furthermore, We have tested public alerting via the DAB+ system and contributed to the SMS alert language preference project. Of course, we continue to participate in every national defence exercise where we can provide added value. All these efforts serve a single goal: to ensure that reliable information always reaches the people, no matter the situation.
